The NRE Grounds

What do we really know about this extraordinary place in the heart of Eindhoven? The film team Eindhoven in Beeld worked for two years on a documentary about the NRE. The documentary portrays the rise of industry around the Eindhoven Canal, featuring personal stories from former employees. It also addresses the contaminated soil and restructuring by the municipality, as well as the experiences of current residents and entrepreneurs. This creates a nuanced portrait of a place that continually reinvents itself and plays a unique role in the city today.
