A Magical Cinematic Experience for Young Kids
ABOUT THIS EVENT
Children aged 2 to 6 can experience their first trip to the cinema in our cozy screening room. On Sunday mornings, toddlers and preschoolers will enjoy Taartrovers Cinemini, a special program where they can watch films and play in a beautiful light landscape.
During Taartrovers Cinemini, we showcase lovely, thrilling, abstract, narrative, and sometimes challenging short films tailored for toddlers and preschoolers. After the screenings, children can immerse themselves in an interactive light landscape with various installations that allow them to explore how light can create narratives. They investigate shapes, projection, light, shadows, stories, movement, and color. How do shadows form? Where do images come from? How do shapes become larger or smaller and disappear into nothingness? For adults, shadows are commonplace, but for kids, they might be a wizard making them into tall giants.
PROGRAM
We will peek to the other side and see the world upside down, like never before. Upside Down is a light-hearted yet funny film program that amazes and entertains simultaneously. One moment we soar through the air, and the next, we are underground.
