ABOUT THIS EVENT

Children aged 2 to 6 will experience their first trip to the movies in our cozy screening room. On Sunday mornings, toddlers and preschoolers can enjoy Taartrovers Cinemini, a unique program featuring films that come alive through interactive play in a beautiful landscape of light. During Taartrovers Cinemini, we will screen enchanting, heartwarming, exciting, abstract, narrative, and sometimes challenging short films specifically tailored for young audiences. After the films, children will collectively explore a landscape filled with installations that allow them to discover how light can create stories. They will investigate shape, projection, light, shadow, narrative, movement, and color. How do shadows appear? Where do images come from? How do shapes change in size and seemingly vanish? And what stories can they see in these shapes? For adults, shadows may seem natural, but for children, they might just be a magician turning adults into tall giants. **PROGRAM:** Join us on an adventure through the sky as we fly with various strange birds. In the woods, every bird must sit in the tree of the same color, and on the water, a clever coot helps an unlucky skipper. A little bird mistakes a badminton shuttle for a friend, while a free bird becomes friends with a caged one. Will these strange birds eventually soar into the wide world together?
