ABOUT THIS EVENT
Kids aged 2 to 6 will experience their first trip to the cinema in our cozy theater. On Sunday mornings, toddlers and preschoolers enjoy Taartrovers Cinemini, a unique program where they watch enchanting short films and then play in a stunning light landscape.
During Taartrovers Cinemini, we feature beautiful, heartwarming, exciting, and sometimes challenging short films specifically designed for young audiences. After the film, kids can explore and play in an installation that allows them to discover how light tells stories. They’ll investigate shapes, projection, light, shadow, stories, movement, and color. How do shadows form? Where do images come from, how do shapes get bigger or smaller, and how do they disappear?
In the presence of Krokodil, there’s always something to experience! Rita and her always-hungry friend Krokodil are back for more adventures, going to the cinema, exploring space, and even visiting the swimming pool.
RITA & KROKODIL – Directed by Siri Melchior, 2018, Denmark, 25 minutes. For Rita, every day is a grand, colorful adventure. With her large, always-hungry friend Krokodil by her side, she’ll never be bored. Together, they'll play in grandma's garden or embark on exciting journeys. With Krokodil, they can go to the movies, visit the swimming pool, attend a birthday party, or even travel through space!
Taartrovers Cinemini is developed by Taartrovers and Eye Filmmuseum.
