A Magical First Cinema Experience for Little Ones!

ABOUT THIS EVENT

Children aged 2 to 6 will experience their very first visit to the cinema in our cozy screening room. On Sunday mornings, toddlers and preschoolers enjoy Taartrovers Cinemini, a unique program where they watch films and play in a beautiful landscape of light. During Taartrovers Cinemini, we showcase beautiful, heartwarming, exciting, abstract, narrative, and sometimes challenging short films specifically designed for toddlers and preschoolers. After the screenings, young visitors engage in imaginative play within a light landscape, featuring various installations that allow them to discover how light can create stories. They will explore concepts of shape, projection, light, shadow, stories, movement, and color. How do shadows form? Where do images come from? How do shapes grow or shrink, and how do they vanish? While it may be commonplace for adults, for children, shadows could be magical, transforming them into towers of imagination. **PROGRAM** Join Dries as he learns to fly, roar, and breathe fire! **DRAGON DRIES** Max Lang, Daniel Snaddon, 2018 United Kingdom 26 minutes Dries is a young dragon who wishes to do much more than he is capable of. Dragon Dries wants to fly, roar, and breathe fire like the best, and he hopes his teacher notices. He dreams of being a hero, but he is quite clumsy, struggling to achieve his goals. Until, one day, it simply happens! Together with an adventurous girl, he springs into action and ultimately becomes the hero he always wanted to be!
