ABOUT THIS EVENT
Children aged 2 to 6 will experience their first trip to the cinema in our cozy movie theater. On Sunday mornings, toddlers and preschoolers enjoy Taartrovers Cinemini—a unique program where they watch films and play in a beautiful light landscape.
During Taartrovers Cinemini, we showcase lovely, exciting, abstract, narrative, and sometimes challenging short films specifically selected for the young audience. After the screenings, children play together in a light landscape filled with various installations that help them discover how light can tell stories. They explore shape, projection, light, shadow, stories, movement, and color.
How do shadows appear? Where do images come from? How do shapes become larger or smaller, and how do forms disappear? What stories do they see in the shapes? While shadows may seem ordinary to adults, for children, it could be a magical wizard transforming grown-ups into towering giants.
**PROGRAM:**
- **Lulina**: A fantastic journey around the world and to the moon, where a funny little monster awaits. Directed by Marcus Vinicius Vasconcelos & Alois Di Leo, 2023, Germany (14 minutes)
