The lives of Rubens Paiva’s wife Eunice (Fernanda Torres) and their five children change abruptly and forever after his disappearance. Eunice faces imprisonment and pressure from the regime to betray her friends and family. When she is released after 12 days, she dedicates herself to opposing the corrupt regime and fighting for the rights of countless innocent citizens and their families who disappeared.
