Cinemini | Upside Down

Children aged 2 to 6 will enjoy their first cinema experience in our cozy film hall. On Sunday mornings, toddlers and preschoolers engage with Taartrovers Cinemini, a special program where they can experience films and play in a stunning light landscape. During Taartrovers Cinemini, we showcase beautiful, delightful, and occasionally challenging short films specifically curated for toddlers and preschoolers. After the screening, visitors can explore together in a light landscape featuring various installations that encourage playful discovery of how light can create stories. Children will explore aspects like form, projection, light, shadow, stories, movement, and color. What happens to shadows? Where do images come from, and how do shapes change in size or disappear? For adults, shadows may seem ordinary, but for children, they might hold magical possibilities. The theme, 'Upside Down', invites a light philosophical exploration, filled with humor and amazement. Sometimes we are in the sky, and other times beneath the earth.
