Waiting for MARSHA

Join us as we journey back to New York in 1969, where vibrant bars were alive with music and ideology. Drag Queens and activists, including the iconic Marsha P. Johnson, fought for their existence sparking the historic Stonewall riots that catalyzed the global queer rights movement. Over fifty years later, queer rights are once again under threat. In Waiting for MARSHA, a group of queer activists, led by Marvan, aims to hijack World Pride 2026 to draw attention to growing harassment and violence against the queer community. Under immense pressure, Marvan grapples with how far they must go to protect their freedom at all costs. A thought-provoking performance that ignites a crucial conversation about the state of queer rights today.
