Three young lives become intertwined during the final years of World War II, as thousands of Allied soldiers fight against the German army. A Dutch boy fighting for the Germans, an English glider pilot, and a Dutch resistance fighter, reluctantly involved with the resistance, are forced to make critical choices that affect both their own freedoms and those of others. Join us for a special screening featuring an introduction by Ronnie van der Veer, a renowned foley artist who worked on this film. Ronnie has contributed to acclaimed productions such as The Lobster, Girl, The Forgotten Battle, and various Netflix, Disney, and Amazon Originals. Many of the projects he worked on won awards for Best Sound and have been showcased at prestigious festivals including Cannes, Sundance, Toronto, Berlin, and Venice. He’ll share insights about his work on The Forgotten Battle and behind-the-scenes stories.
