WHAT U.C. IS WHAT YOU GET: A Fusion of Art and Performance

The second edition of WHAT U.C. IS WHAT YOU GET takes over Natlab for three unforgettable evenings. United Cowboys presents new works from local and international artists in an ever-evolving mix of dance, music, performance, video, and visual art. Audiences will be swept away in a continuous flow of performances, installations, and interactions. Gradually, more spaces in Natlab will be unveiled until performers and the audience converge on the Main Stage, becoming part of a world filled with imagination and wonder. Thursday will highlight the rich archive of United Cowboys, featuring the iconic Glass Performance. This thrilling piece is being revived for this edition, along with a mix of intimate performances, video installations, and sound art that have characterized the company for decades. On Friday and Saturday, the focus shifts to a new generation of artists. From a blank canvas where anything is possible, performance, dance, sound, and video will alternate, featuring works from creators from the Netherlands, Portugal, France, Denmark, and Belgium. Through a personal and intimate approach, United Cowboys brings art closer to home. The boundary between performer and visitor blurs, fostering a unique shared experience each night. Additionally, the photo portrait series by Maarten van der Put and David Galjaard will continue, featuring artists and local residents portrayed in their own living environments.
