PINK SMOKE: A Dual Dance Exploration

Join us for an evocative evening presented by Club Guy & Roni, showcasing two unique dance performances: **WARQAD** - An intimate exploration of loss through traditional Japanese rituals. This dance narrative navigates time and memory, questioning how rituals can aid us in letting go. 'WARQAD', meaning 'paper' in Somali, uses fragile pieces of washi paper as symbols of delicate, enduring memories, inviting us to reflect on our connection with a fleeting world. **FREIHEIT** - Enter into a thrilling quest for freedom and the limitations that society imposes on us. This performance examines the often-limited feeling of freedom despite the promises of boundless choices. Created in collaboration with Tanz Mainz in 2019, it illustrates how shifting boundaries between individuals and ideas can fuel creativity, liberation, and conflict. Each moment, the stage transforms every 3 minutes and 33 seconds, posing the critical question: where does my freedom end and yours begin?
