Andreas Schager makes his long-awaited debut at The Royal Opera, singing the title role of Siegfried. Christopher Maltman is the omnipotent Wanderer, Peter Hoare the treacherous Mime, and Elisabet Strid is a radiant Brünnhilde. Antonio Pappano conducts, embodying the unspoken tensions and the ethereal mystique of Wagner's dynamic score.
