Two Percent: A Comedy Exploration

What if your brain is both your greatest blessing and your biggest curse? In 'Two Percent', Bas Birker takes the audience inside his mind, navigating the constant tug-of-war between logic and emotion. This sharp, relatable, and exceptionally funny quest tackles intelligence, self-awareness, and foolish decisions. Find yourself facing your test results, surprised that you belong to the smartest two percent of the population, yet feeling like you’ve done nothing worthwhile with it. Blessed with a good brain, they say. But is it truly a blessing? After all, what good is it if all it enables you to do is reflect on your foolish choices? In his latest comedy show, Bas dives into the fascinating world under his skull, revealing that relying on logic for over 40 years can backfire when your emotions suddenly take charge. He shares tales of a smart kid making dumb decisions and investigates the irony of being blessed with straightforward worldviews while feeling cursed when overestimating your wisdom. Whether you belong to the majority or the elite two percent, this show promises to resonate with everyone. Supported by the tax shelter scheme from the Belgian government via Flanders Tax Shelter.
