ReinAard: A Captivating Solo Performance

In the autumn of 2026, renowned author Tom Lanoye brings his bestseller ReinAard to the stage. This one-man show features a lively monologue where ancient tales meet contemporary language in a sharp and captivating manner. Straddling the line between the sublime and the banal, humorous and brutal, featuring both rich Dutch and colloquial Neder-English, Tom only needs his voice, a bottle of water, and a microphone to create an unforgettable performance. ReinAard: A Solo is a unique experience where a writer engages with classic characters and the modern words he crafted for them. Described as a literary flight featuring a clever fox — a 'superior rogue whose ancient tricks vividly illustrate how populism operates,' according to Humo. It reveals how deception still reigns, presented through tasty verses and clever curses. Excludes refreshments.
