Eternal Eclipse

Dive into the darkest corners of obscure black metal with the return of Eternal Eclipse for its fourth edition! This celebration of darkness moves to POPEI this year, featuring three pitch-black bands. The highlight of the night will be Cirith Gorgor, one of the Netherlands' oldest black metal bands, performing an exclusive set with the return of their original vocalist, Nimroth. Additionally, the evening will showcase the Belgian band Heinous and Messor Falce as the opener. Cirith Gorgor (special set with original vocalist Nimroth) Founded in 1993, Cirith Gorgor is a cornerstone of Dutch black metal, notorious for their devastating sound and immersive, uncompromising live shows. Their music weaves dark, atmospheric intensity with boundless energy. For this special set, original vocalist Nimroth returns to deliver a powerful selection of early classics during the first half of the show, while the second half showcases the relentless power of the current lineup. Heinous (BE) Heinous is a Belgian black metal band deeply rooted in the raw, uncompromising spirit of the 90s. Their music exudes pure intensity, featuring dark riffs and possessed vocals. With former members from Enthroned, Slaughter Messiah, Nightbringer, and Possession, their debut album, Ritual, Blood and Mysterious Dawn, made an immediate impact with its brutal and immersive sound. Messor Falce Since 2022, Messor Falce has been carving its path through the realm of ritual black metal. Named after the Grim Reaper, the band conjures an atmosphere of decay and darkness with chilling riffs, thunderous drums, and deathly vocals.
