Embark on a sensory journey through Japanese art and literature.
ABOUT THIS EVENT
Ito Meikyū is a virtual reality experience inspired by Japanese art history and literature, referencing works such as Fukinuki Yatai, The Tale of Genji, and The Pillow Book. This immersive piece unfolds as a sensory fresco bursting with emotion and poetry.
Within a labyrinth of architecture featuring infinite patterns, vivid scenes spring to life—depicted, animated, and rich in sound—where plants, animals, humans, objects, and calligraphy collaboratively create a world straddling the inner and outer realms. Depending on your choices, new fragments of this universe are revealed, presenting a game of chance and discovery, where you, as the observer, remain a quiet presence at the heart of the experience.
