WHAT U.C. Is What You Get: A Cultural Experience

The second edition of 'WHAT U.C. IS WHAT YOU GET' takes over Natlab for three evenings of creative expression. United Cowboys showcases a captivating blend of local and international works, featuring dance, music, performance, video, and visual arts. Audiences will experience a seamless flow of performances and installations, gradually unveiling more spaces within Natlab, culminating in a collaborative atmosphere on the Main Stage — a realm of imagination and wonder. On Thursday, the program highlights the rich archive of United Cowboys, featuring the iconic Glass Performance along with intimate performances, video, installation, and sound art that have characterized this ensemble for decades. The focus shifts on Friday and Saturday to a new generation of artists, where performances, dance, sound, and video alternately burst forth from a blank canvas of possibilities, showcasing works from creators in the Netherlands, Portugal, France, Denmark, and Belgium. With United Cowboys' personal and intimate approach, art comes alive, and the boundary between performer and audience blurs, creating unique collective experiences each evening. The photo portrait series by Maarten van der Put and David Galjaard continues, capturing artists and local residents in their home environments. To explore more, opt for a combo ticket to enjoy two evenings: Thursday + Friday or Thursday + Saturday.
