The four-member band 'Nevels' creates melancholic singer-songwriter music inspired by artists like Nick Cave, Michael Gira, and Leonard Cohen. Through the fragile melodies of acoustic baritone and deep, melancholic vocals, the band delves into the depths of our subconscious, crafting a world where God and the Devil are real, and where Nietzsche, Freud, and Shakespeare wander desolate lands. Tonight, they celebrate their first release titled 'Origin of Stars' under the name Nevels. Joining them is Ellenor Vora, known for her melancholic songs interwoven with dreamy and dissonant guitar lines. With her delicate voice and soundscapes, she creates an atmosphere enveloping themes of melancholy, sorrow, and pain. Doors open at 20:00. Entrance is free!
