ABOUT THIS EVENT

For forty years, Rowwen Hèze has been the sound of the countryside, passing their music from generation to generation. As they prepare for their biggest home performance yet, in celebration of their 40th anniversary, the inner dynamics among the band members are revealed. What began as a friendship has evolved into a marriage filled with moments of tension. In their quest to create new music, the members continually strive to reconnect with each other. Frontman Jack Poels has dedicated his career to writing songs about the people in and around his hometown, America. He captures the authenticity of rural life in an era where the countryside, due to the decline of farming and the loss of the local dialect, is changing beyond recognition. For the first time, he decides to write a song for his father, who passed away from MS when Jack was thirteen, paying tribute to his father and the village that ever compels him to open his heart.
