An Enchanting First Cinema Experience for Little Ones

ABOUT THIS EVENT

Children aged 2 to 6 will experience their first cinema visit in our cozy screening room. On Sunday mornings, toddlers and preschoolers will enjoy Taartrovers Cinemini, a special program featuring short films that are beautiful, sweet, exciting, abstract, narrative, and sometimes challenging, all crafted for young audiences. After the film, children will play together in a light landscape consisting of various installations, where they can discover how light creates stories. They will explore forms, projection, light, shadow, stories, movement, and color. How do shadows form? Where do images come from, and how do shapes get bigger or smaller? What stories can they see in these shapes? For adults, shadows are commonplace; for children, it’s like magic that turns grown-ups into towering giants! PROGRAM: Join Dries as he learns to fly, roar, and breathe fire! DRAAK DRIES Max Lang, Daniel Snaddon, 2018 United Kingdom Duration: 26 minutes Dries is a young dragon who wants to do much more than he can. He wishes to fly, roar, and breathe fire like the best and hopes his teacher will notice. He wants to be a hero, but he's incredibly clumsy, and nothing seems to go right until it just happens! Together with a brave girl, he takes action and becomes a hero after all.
