MIEKS is a 9-piece band from Tilburg, led by frontwoman and songwriter Mieke. Her autobiographical songs emerge from a fierce struggle, shaped by her extreme premature birth at 27 weeks. You can hear this raw power in releases like “Unruled Game” (Top40 Tipparade nomination) and the powerful singles “The Bloody Truth” and “Indestructible.” Recently, MIEKS caught the attention of The Struts and YUNGBLUD, with the latter considering the band as a potential support act. Blending soul and rock with influences from Amy Winehouse, Måneskin, and Beth Hart, MIEKS transforms deep emotions into high-energy music.
