ABOUT THIS EVENT

Join us for a delightful evening combining French cuisine with cinema at Natlab! Savor the classic pot-au-feu, a French beef stew, and experience the film 'Le Pot-au-feu', featuring Juliette Binoche and Benoît Magimel. For one combined ticket, indulge in both the meal and the film. Vegetarian options are also available. Cinevillers pay only for the food. At Film & Food, we bring together great cinema and wonderful dining experiences. This edition is dedicated to French gastronomy—begin with a meal and then enjoy the film. Arrive 90 minutes before the film starts to sit down at Natlab for pot-au-feu. After your meal, head to the screening room for the film 'Le Pot-au-feu', a sensory exploration of cooking, love, and the care that goes into preparing a dish. Set in France in 1885, the exceptional chef Eugénie has worked for the famed gourmet Dodin Bouffant for two decades. Their culinary partnership blossoms into romance, but Eugénie values her independence and continually declines Dodin's marriage proposals. Determined to win her over, he decides to cook for her—an unprecedented gesture. Directed by Trần Anh Hùng, the film beautifully depicts French cuisine with patience and care, showcasing how their relationship evolves through subtle gestures. It’s a Film & Food evening designed for relaxation: first taste, then watch.
