ABOUT THIS EVENT
Children aged 2 to 6 experience their very first cinema visit in our cozy theater. On Sunday mornings during Taartrovers Cinemini, little ones enjoy a special program filled with charming, thrilling, and imaginative short films designed just for toddlers and preschoolers.
After the films, kids can play in a magical light landscape featuring various installations that encourage exploration of how light can tell stories. They’ll delve into shape, projection, light, shadow, narratives, movement, and color. How do shadows form? Where do images come from? How do shapes change size, and what happens when they disappear? For adults, shadows are average; for kids, they're a source of magic turning adults into towering giants.
**PROGRAM**: Meet the family of insects through surprising perspectives, beautiful sound effects, and stunning animation styles – a hit in France. Notably, the directors blend animation with documentary footage, bringing nature even closer.
**MINUSCULE**: Thomas Szabo & Hélène Giraud, 2006, France, 25 minutes. The animals narrate their own stories in Minuscule. Insects seem tiny, but through their eyes, everything changes. Ants, spiders, crane flies, and ladybugs take on human traits and find themselves in amusing everyday situations. Join the insects on an adventure through meadows filled with grass and flowers!
